Marrakech - A Story of Family, Tradition & Tea
A City of Spices, Stories, and Tea
Marrakech, the "Red City" nestled at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, is a place where history lingers in every alleyway, and the scent of spices fills the air. But above all, it is a city where tea is more than just a drink—it is a symbol of hospitality, a ritual of connection, and a tradition passed down through generations. In the lively souks and quiet courtyards alike, Moroccan mint tea is poured high and served with a smile, an unspoken promise of warmth and welcome.
A Family’s Journey, A Tradition Preserved
My father was born in this magical city, where the rhythm of life was punctuated by the clinking of ornate teapots and the pouring of fragrant, steaming tea. When our family made its way to Israel, we carried with us more than just memories—we carried traditions. To this day, I brew tea in the very same delicate glasses my family brought from Morocco, each pour a tribute to the past, each sip a connection to home.
A Blend of Heritage and Flavor
Our Marrakech Green Chai is an homage to this tradition, a blend that bridges past and present. We’ve taken the light, refreshing essence of classic Moroccan mint tea and infused it with bold chai spices, delicate green tea, and cooling spearmint and peppermint. The result is a tea that is both familiar and exciting, grounding and uplifting—just like the tea my father once sipped in the heart of Marrakech.
An Invitation to Savor Tradition
Tea is more than a beverage; it is a moment of pause, a gesture of welcome, an expression of care. With every sip of our Marrakech Green Chai, you are invited into this tradition, to experience the timeless ritual of Moroccan tea—exotic, light, and endlessly refreshing. Brew a cup, take in the aroma, and let it transport you to a place where the past and present meet, where every cup tells a story.
