"Clean energy. Calm focus. A cup that actually changes how your morning feels."

About This Blend

Matcha isn't a trend. It's a 900-year-old Japanese practice of consuming the whole green tea leaf, stone-ground into a fine powder rather than steeping and discarding it. The result is up to 10x the concentration of antioxidants, EGCG, vitamins, and minerals compared to steeped green tea.

Plus L-theanine, the amino acid naturally found in matcha that promotes calm, focused energy. The kind that doesn't spike, doesn't crash, and doesn't leave you reaching for another cup an hour later.

This is the morning drink that actually makes your mornings better.

Ingredients

Stone-ground green tea powder

How To Brew

Classic matcha preparation:
Heat fresh filtered water to just below boiling (175–185°F). Add 1 teaspoon of Midori Barista Matcha to a bowl or cup. Pour a small amount of hot water (about 2 oz) and whisk vigorously in a W or M motion for 30–60 seconds until smooth and frothy. Do not strain, those fine particles are packed with nutrients.

Matcha latte (the daily ritual):
Prepare as above. Steam or froth your milk of choice and pour over. Oat milk amplifies the sweetness beautifully. A touch of honey or maple syrup is optional for extra sweetness.

Iced matcha latte:
Whisk matcha with 2 oz of hot water until smooth. Pour over ice, top with cold oat milk or regular milk. Stir and enjoy immediately.

In smoothies, cocktails, and cooking:
Midori Barista Matcha is designed for versatility. Add 1 teaspoon to smoothies, protein shakes, baked goods, or cocktails. The bold flavor holds up to strong ingredients and the color is naturally stunning.

Storage: Keep sealed, away from light and moisture. The resealable pouch is designed to protect freshness between uses.

Tasting Notes

First Sip: Vivid, bright umami that hits immediately. Distinctly matcha.

Mid-Palate: Earthy, grassy sweetness develops. Rich and complex without any bitterness.

The Body: Smooth and full. A pleasant natural sweetness that requires no added sugar.

The Finish: Clean and lingering. Long, warm, gently vegetal. A finish that invites the next sip.

How Should I Store My Tea

Keep your tea in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid storing near the stove or in humid spaces. Stored properly, your tea will stay fresh and aromatic for up to 24 months.

For matcha, we recommend using within 1 month of opening for peak freshness and color.

What's inside, and why it matters

Midori Barista Matcha contains one ingredient: 100% organic stone-ground Japanese green tea powder, sourced from a single farm in Japan. Nothing else. That's the point.

100% Organic Stone-Ground Japanese Green Tea

Antioxidants · Calm Focus · Clean Energy · Immune Support

Matcha is made from shade-grown green tea leaves, covered in the weeks before harvest to boost chlorophyll, L-theanine, and antioxidant production. The whole leaf is then stone-ground into an ultra-fine powder, which means you consume everything the plant has to offer rather than steeping and discarding it.

The result is up to 10x the concentration of antioxidants compared to steeped green tea, including EGCG, one of the most studied antioxidant compounds in the world, linked to immune support, reduced inflammation, and cellular health.

The L-theanine works synergistically with matcha's natural caffeine to produce calm, focused energy that doesn't spike or crash.

Stone-ground on traditional granite mills to preserve flavor and nutrition. Sourced from a single Japanese farm. Nothing added, nothing removed.
