How To Brew

For a classic cup:
Steep 1 tea bag (or 1–2 teaspoons loose leaf) in 8 oz of boiling water (200°F). Let it steep for 3–5 minutes for a bold, full flavor. Add warm milk and a touch of sweetener for a traditional chai latte.

For the real Mumbai experience:
Simmer the tea directly in equal parts milk and water on the stovetop for 3–5 minutes. Sweeten to taste and strain. This is how Mumbai does it.

Iced chai:
Brew double strength, pour over ice, top with your milk of choice. Add a pinch of cinnamon on top.

Tasting Notes

How Should I Store My Tea

Keep your tea in a cool, shaded area away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid storing near the stove or in humid spaces. Stored properly, your tea will stay fresh and aromatic for up to 24 months.
